Hiya Love! We humans make sense of our world through our experiences and beliefs; and I have a deep respect and interest in various spiritual, religious and occult themes and practices. I actually took a module called ‘Religion in a Contemporary’ world at university; so yes, I would say this has been a long time interest of mine!
Numerology
Numerology is the study of the mystical significance of numbers and their influence on human life. It explores how numbers, birth dates and names, are linked to a persons life path, personality traits and possible future events. Numerologists believe these numbers reveal insights into an individual’s destiny and spiritual journey.
Many of us have numbers that are significant to us for some reason. This usually starts with our birthdate or an anniversary of some sort. Some numbers have cultural significance like in Chinese culture, the number 8 is considered the most auspicious number because it sounds like the phrase ‘to prosper’. In Western culture there is the Lucky Number 7 which is related to there being 7 days of the week, 7 colours in the rainbow, 7 continents even the musical scale has 7 notes! So you can see why 7 would be a significant number.
In numerology each number has an energy signature; its own vibration. The below image is an example but if you go onto google, type in numerology and go to images you will see countless versions and interpretations.

Angel numbers
Repeating numbers such as 111, 222, 333 or any combination that you see repeatedly are called angel numbers. You can see them anywhere. On your phone, car registration, receipts anywhere, It is believed that seeing these angel numbers carry messages.. I would see 444 all the time, when it changed to 1234 I knew something had shifted when I started seeing a new number pattern. And even though there are books and resources online telling people what these angel numbers mean, I still seek further clarity on what the messages are for me personally.
The number 9
So what’s up with the number 9 then? Well, according to numerology every year has a number that influences the energy of the year ahead and 2025 is a universal 9 year. When we add 2 + 0 + 2 + 5 it equals 9 which symbolises wisdom, completion, tying up loose ends and wrapping things up. I also watched a video that says this year is the year of changes due to the Yoruba Goddess Oya, Mother of 9 who is the goddess of change and transformation. In any case I feel we’re in for an interesting year.
Naturally the number 9 feels like a climax before the number 10 which is the number of ending cycles, completion but also marks new beginnings. This is the year of endings, things serving their purpose and a preparation for the next step in our journeys. We may see things ending in different areas of our lives that may feel painful and uncomfortable; but, perspective is everything and I urge you to try and see the blessings and the lessons of these endings. See the wonderful possibilities and be optimistic of new beginnings rather than fearfully entertaining worst case scenarios.
Conclusion: The end
Many of us want changes but are not ready for the shifts that come with them. We want the change to be smooth sailing at all times with no turbulence and I’m with you on that! But let me tell you, the discomfort is oftentimes unavoidable. I remember when I wanted to move out of my flat. With the social housing situation in the UK it was proving difficult. 6 years on the list, lots of emails and supporting letters and nothing was shifting. It was the main thing on my mind. Well, my neighbour below me started a massive campaign against me, harrassing TF out of me and my children, banging, sending me letters, the lot. She was the neighbour from hell. And even when the housing told her she has to stop the nonsense she just ignored them. She caused so much problems that she brought the housings attention to us even more. They couldn’t ignore me or the situation any longer and in the end they moved me. That neighbour caused me problems and it was so uncomfortable at times but guess what? She served a purpose in me getting what I wanted. If it wasn’t for that neighbour harassing me I would still be waiting; but I moved into a home that matched what I was looking for. Result!
After everything I have peace and gratitude.
So what I’m trying to say is the endings this year will be necessary. Say it with me: I am ready. No matter what. I will have courage in the face of change. Endings are a part of life and I will remain balanced and grounded throughout. I will observe, listen and discern my next move. I believe in everything being for my highest and best and nothing less.
Do not hold back the progress of your life for the sake of holding onto something familiar. whatever you believe in, may that help you through your transitions. Look at all the things that have changed, transformed and ended in your life. You are still here and that alone is a blessing and an opportunity for better to come through. Ok? Good!
